Technical Sales


Main Responsibilities

- Build up and maintain relationships with customer's technical department and staff. Prepare and deliver technical presentations, and have in-depth technical discussion with customer about transport network evolution, architecture, solution, function, feature and relevant technical details.
- Understand customer's requirements and take the lead to provide solution, recommendation and appropriate response.
- Be responsible for generating proposals, presenting and articulating proposal to customer.
- Support the Account Manager on the sales acquisition by providing technical consultation to best fit customer’s requirement.
- Plan and organize pre-sales activities such as workshop, bidding, testing, customer visiting and etc.
- Support product marketing related activities, collect market and competitive information, and make analysis report contributing to our marketing strategy and plan.


Qualification

- At least 3 years R&D, technical presales, or marketing experience in telecom industry. 
- Candidates with experience in multinational telecommunication companies or with connection to Vodafone business are preferred.
- Strong Telecommunications background, including work experience in the area of optical transmission and IP network.
- Good knowledge in the fields of IP/MPLS and WDM/OTN. 
- Good comprehension of customer’s requirement, good presentation skills and sales orientated.
- Be adept in analysis, market planning, project organization and coordination. 
- Ability to work independently and promote company's solution and products.
- Fluent in English. 
- Self-motivated, Quick learner, Teamwork, Strong communications and influencing skills.
